I bet this is one thing you NEVER would have thought of doing with an onion of all things.
Way back when in the days of the Civil War (1861-1865) General Sherman told George Washington that he would not move any farther if they did not get onions.
Why would be want onions so bad you may be asking yourself? (maybe hah)
Back in the day Onions were actually used to help STERILIZE open wounds.
Okay, that just sounds painful for one, but hey it worked back then! I'm not saying go rub a cut with an onion. The onions these days are different then the ones that were used back then. I'm sure you could do it, but I'm not sure I would do it! I will stick with neosporin thank you! :P
