Eggnog cookies

Eggnog cookies?! You may be thinking complete blasphemy but they are actually really good. When I made these they went over extremely well and they were gone within the first day. Not by me mind you, I actually really dislike eggnog but between my parents, brother, Chris and other members of my family they went poof very quick! These will definitely make another appearance this Holiday season!

Microwave Eggless Cookies?!

Hello everyone!!

Today's recipe is Microwave Eggless Cookies.

but I really wanted to put this here because it's very easy, quick and super yummy! I was searching Google (kind of like normal) because I wanted to find an eggless cookie recipe, because we don't have any eggs. The more and more I thought about it, the more I realized I did not have the energy to actually bake. Somehow I came across this recipe from Mike Bridge. This isn't exactly the same texture as a cookie, but it's really good!

French Vanilla Coffee Just Like Starbucks' Coffee Frappuccino

Today I have a drink recipe! WOOOOT
It's super simple and something you can make in advance and just let it sit and chill in your fridge until you want a glass!

I first found this recipe on Pinterest and there was NO link back to the original poster, but I definitely changed this recipe by a lot because the original was WAY too sweet. I'm going to post my changes and the original.

Oh! I "almost" forgot to mention. This is almost like the Starbucks Coffee Frappuccino's that are in the glass jars. It's super yummy warm or cold!

Hey everyone!

I am SO so so so sorry that it's been rather quiet on this end. I kind of burned myself out in December posting almost everyday between the two blogs. I have quite a few recipes that I am wanting to share and what not, I am going to try and figure out a way to make them printable for the just in case and what not.
I was considering putting them back on my blog, but I just made a whole page dedicated to the recipes, that way if anyone from my main blog wants to check out a specific recipe they can more easily.

Food fact #2 - What Onions Were Once Used For

I bet this is one thing you NEVER would have thought of doing with an onion of all things.

Way back when in the days of the Civil War (1861-1865) General Sherman told George Washington that he would not move any farther if they did not get onions.

Why would be want onions so bad you may be asking yourself? (maybe hah)

Back in the day Onions were actually used to help STERILIZE open wounds.

Okay, that just sounds painful for one, but hey it worked back then! I'm not saying go rub a cut with an onion. The onions these days are different then the ones that were used back then. I'm sure you could do it, but I'm not sure I would do it! I will stick with neosporin thank you! :P
